Bass player gets whats coming on stage.

If the bassist was the best part of the band then that proves beyond any doubt that they are, in fact, total crap.
Frontman is a class act. He may very well have a more profound way of dealing with that kind of pointless distraction behind the scenes, but in public he played it right. Apologize to the audience and fans, and don't throw your band mates under the bus. Thank the stage crew for putting things back together. Introduce the new line-up. The show must go on. Regardless of what you think of the music or lyrics, that was well-played on his part.
I like Punk but that was terrible. Like another Tb'er said did they ever change key? Sounded like the same mess over and over. The so -called bass player was playing nothing..what a mess.
LOL I thought they would never get that bass in tune.
They got style though you gotta admit.
Songs suck but they play them well. Plus a stage name of Joe Queer has it's own fearless awesomeness.

bad music / bad musicians. Makes me sad for San Diego. I drive past that venue all the time - it's almost always full of blithering idiot hipsters.
Don't feel sorry for San Diego Harry. Every city has got those same kind of venues with the same kind of hipster/wankers.
Good news is that it keeps them all in one place and out of the way.

Unfortunately, it seems like a lot of people think that crap is synonymous with punk.
Playing punk well takes skill and musicianship (The WHO is a punk band).

Always had a lot of time for The Queers and what a great bill that night with Mr T Experience and Screeching Weasel.
