Bass player wanted in MD

I am looking for a metal bassist in Baltimore, MD. Practice would be specifically in Jacksonville, MD as all of our equipment is there. We practice in the same area as rest among ruins. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Umd7xSjIAwQ

College and high School age please if possible. As far as genre, we are a combination of various metal subgroups. Influences include the OLD trivium, Opeth, Shadows Fall, Lamb of God, and Children of Bodom.

PM or reply here if interested. All are welcome

Shame, because this is so close to me, but I don't quality because:

1 - I'm too old (40)

2 - And I'm not quite into the stuff you guys are. I do like and play hard rock (Incubus, Saliva, etc), but I think the stuff you guys do is a level or two up (in terms of "hardness") from what I play

3 - I'm in a gigging band with a fairly busy schedule at the moment

Good luck guys. This is a tuff town to find solid bass players in (which is GREAT for bassist like me here in MD). I wish you the best!

Damn, Q - If you're too old at 40, I'm freakin' ancient at 47...Z

It's getting so difficult to find professional musicians in the Washington, DC area. We've been trying to find a PRO Frontman forever it seems. baltimorebands, MDparty, craigs list, chucklevins.com......there is no one out there it seems who has a high tenor range. My act does the classics, ie Boston, Styx, Kansas, Triumph, Journey, Foreigner, Bad Co, Zepp, Who, RUSH, Zebra, Whitesnake, etc. The rest of us in the Act sing as well, we're shifting gears to do tunes the rest of us can sing leads on as a result of the lack of available talent in this area.

Anyone know of any avenues I may be overlooking? I'm thinking I may need to go to talent agents to see if they are representing any true Pros that can pull this stuff off.

If anyone here can help I'd greatly appreciate it. Hell, I'll buy someone a nice xmas gift if they can hook us up with the right frontman.

Take care all - Happy Holidays -
