Bass Pod with Half Stack?

Ok I'm pretty confused about something considering I'm a huge noob when it comes to pre amps and stuff like that. I recently bought a line 6 Bass Pod xt from a Sam Ash store new for $98. I got it with the adapter but nothing else. I know this is probably a stupid question but would I be able to run this with my Acoustic B200H head and my Hartke 410 cab when I play live? What would I need to do this?

Thanks in advance!

Doing what you're intending is just what the Pod is designed to do. Just plug your bass into the Pod input and plug a lead from the Pod output into your amp.

You don't say what type of Pod XT it is, whether it's one of the bean shaped ones, the XT live floor pedal or the XT pro rack mount one. Depnding on the type it is, it will have a different way of selecting between a signal that will drive an amp just by plugging it into the amp input, or if you want to get it to pump out a bigger signal (line level) to drive a poweramp directly, so you'll want to set it for "amp" output so that it doesn't overdrive the input of your amp.

Its the bean shaped pod. I got it working with my amp I think although changing the eq on the head does nothing(i guess thats normal when you use a pod?). I just need to figure out how to work the darn thing now...

Once again, I'm sorry for sounding so stupid on this subject but any other input would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on where you plugged the pod into the amp. If you set up goes like this:
Bass---> Pod---> Effects return input on amp. Then you are bypassing the amps Preamp and EQ so those knobs will not affect anything

If you have it set up like this:
Bass---> Pod---> Instrument Input then your amps EQ should still work.

I had that same head for a few years and found out that it did not really play well with external Pre-amps. Don't get me wrong its a great little head. I just found that the amps design did not lend it self well to using external preamps and effects.
