Bass Problems

I need some help. My SX jazz bass is not working. When its plugged in no sound is produced. i checked the wires and everything seems to be correct. so if anyone has any idea on whats wrong it would be great to know.

Maybe it's not the bass? You try different instrument cables or another amp or second input on your existing amp (if it has one)?

yeah i have used all of my cables and three different amps. so it has to be the bass.

If that's the case, I'd start with the input jack and work inward from there.

usually on a passive input like that, theres a contact that hits the tip of the cable that gets bent out of place, just tweak it back into the jack so it makes contact : )

there are three. i have bent the largest one back. should bent the other two as well?
