Bass scales positions?

Hello,i am a new bass player and i am trying to find and download a book that has the alla t he scales and their position. For example i want to play F# minor and A major in alla positions(and their arpegios).Does anyone know where can i find information?THank you very much

My general advice would be to get a bass teacher if you are just starting out. And the nice thing about bass is that if you learn the pattern for a certain scale then you play play that pattern starting at any other note and it will be the type of scale. Youtube is a good resource aswell.

Let me offer you this (for your arpeggios).

For major chords, the 3rd will always be

A) one string up (in pitch) and one fret down (in pitch) from your root
B) four frets up on the same string from your root

the 5th will always be

A) one string up (in pitch) and two frets down (in pitch) from your 3rd
B) three frets up on the same string from your 3rd
C) same fret, one string down (in pitch) from your root

For minor chords, the 3rd will always be

A) one string up (in pitch) and two frets down (in pitch) from your root
B) three frets up on the same string from your root

the 5th will always be

A) one string up (in pitch) and one fret down (in pitch) from your 3rd
B) four frets up on the same string from your 3rd
C) same fret, one string down (in pitch) from your root
