Double Bass Bass Shop In Paris?

I'm going to be in Paris for a week in early October and I'd love to buy a new bow. Does anyone know of a good DB shop in the city?

the rue de rome is the street where many luthier-shops in paris are located

I bought my Noguera at Bass Centre in 1998, I think it was. Pigalle district. There were tons of shops there. Le Gauchier (sp?) has all left handed instruments, for example.

Not sure of luthiers but if want to visit the oddest music shop with some of the most curious instruments you;ve ever seen, head over to Andre Bissonette's on Rue du Pas de la Mule near Place des Vosges. It is more museum then shop and it is worth a trip for anyone who loves instruments!

Yeah, that is a cool shop and the guy who owns it is great as well. Ask him where the contrabasse shop is nearby and he'll tell you (I never made it but he highly recommended it. Rue de Rome will give you some selection. I like Paris Contrebasse and the little shop up the street on the left side...pretty much at the end of all the music shops.

68 Rue de Rome - Jean Bejuy...nice guy, small shop, nice stuff

Google maps any of these then take street view and you can virtually walk down the street and see all these places. Amazing
