Bass Solos That Knock You Out

I didn't tab it, but here's the solo at the album tempo and 90%. Ive been working on it for a few weeks and recorded a practice run of just the solo this morning. I'm going to let it bake in a bit before attempting the entire song.

This solo is very tough to play with the punch and definition exhibited. TJH3113 nails it. I don't know how much bass Randy Jackson is playing these days, but he was a bad dude. On his first national tour he went out with Billy Cobham, what does that tell you?

Whether or not it qualifies as a *solo* is debatable but I love Ian Hill's bass leads in the chorus of Judas Priest's version of The Green Manalishi.
