Pretty much every version of this studio or live has a solid bass solo. The bass overall in this tune is rippin and her band is world class. Drums are otherworldly.

I saw Blondie a couple of times at CBGB and they were the worst band in the world! I saw them 3 years later and could not believe it was the same band. They were amazing! I've never seen musicians get it together so quickly!
Sean Malone's brief solo in "Rivers Dancing" by Gordian Knot. Here's a cover I found on youtube so I don't have to post the whole song and make you sit through it til the end for the solo.

Tommy doesn't get enough credit. Saw the MT band in '77. They topped the bill of four bands here and the soundman definitely was a Tommy fan for sure. Man, his playing and tone were ferocious and especially during his solo.

Grover Washington in Jacksonville. The whole band is cookin'. Lanar Brantley on bass at 3:07. Solo just fits the song and grooves! Maybe not super technical or super fancy but is just musical and grooves.
Not big at all on bass solos. But this is brilliant.
Yeah, I have watched that clip a bunch of times, and each time the musicianship is just mind-blowing.
Great album, a few sweet bass solos across it, some great riffs. Great song, solo starts a bit after 3:13. Short but sweet and I love how kinetic it is, “bucket uh bucket uh bucket uh bock!” feels like being strapped into a short snowboard and dropping into a huge half pipe Sunday night all chopped up from the whole weekend… in the middle he circles around the pulse? Some goofy aural acrobatic ground work. Great end. Perfectly concise solo that suits the lyrics.
