The bass solo on "99" by Toto is a cool one. Very tasteful, but not a no-brainer. When it comes to cool, not too hard solos, try "Smooth Operator" by Sade. I know that these songs probably don't RAWK OUT enough for you, and may require you to actually move your bass up a bit higher but they are good learning tools. And hey, you asked!

Also try learning guitar & sax solos on your bass. It gives you insight and really pisses your guitar player off too!
