bass string for warwick thumb bo 4 1996

Hi From Argentina!
I have a 4-string Warwick Thumb Bo.
I put Ernie Ball Hybrid 45-105 strings on it, but I feel like the bass doesn't sound like a Warwick, haha.

Should I put steel strings on it?

What strings do you recommend?

- Elixir
- Dr
- La Bella
- Magma
Thank you so much!

DR Fat beams and Dean Markley blue steel have been my favorite strings to bring out that tone. Dunlop signature series stainless steel sounds great too. I was never a fan of Ernie Ball. I've tried cobalt, slinky, you name it and nothing really was what I want. But seeing as you're from Argentina I would definitely try magma stainless steel if you can get them easily. I've tried them and was happy. They didn't hold their tone as long as DR far beams or Blue Steel but when they are fresh they sound nice.
