Bass teacher needed for LI/NYC

I'm looking to really tighten up my reading and learn all the stuff I would need to know for jazz. I've been playing for somewhere around 4 to 5 years, I know a little bit of theory, but I'm sort of stuck in the rock rut. Basically, I just played a musical and feel that I lack as a real musician.

Where do I start looking?

Hi Chris - I would HIGHLY recommend Mike Frost. An amazing player and also a very gifted and patient teacher. You can check out his website at www.mcfrost.com . His NY studio is in Lynbrook , so it's close to NYC if that's where you're based. Good luck with your training !!
