Bass tone need Help!

I have an Ibanez srx2ex2 I'm planning on selling it an either getting a brand new Classic vibe jazz bass or a brand new Squier VM the black with the maple neck or a used MIM jazz bass. Which would be best for these bass tones

or should I just keep the Ibanez? What strings should I use, would it really change up the bass tone drastically? I'm playing out of a gk 800rb and I have a sansamp programmable bddi coming in the mail Wednesday. Please help!

Honestly dude I've found that Chromes sound amazing on the SRX series. Helps tame the sometimes harsh brightness, but doesn't kill the tone. Still gives lots of growl and punch. Flats putting more focus on the fundamental should also help you cut through a little more, less of your tone being thrown away through treble. That plus the sansamp would give you killer tone.
