Lose the BAII bridge. You will most likely not be able to tell the difference in tone (if there is any) and those listening to you play absolutely will not notice. You'll drop some weight on the bass that way but it will contribute a bit to neck dive, which Fenders are prone to anyway.
Routing out some wood below the pickguard would also reduce some weight. I've got some routs under the 'guard of my Atkinson P bass, but the thing is still very heavy.
