Hi, My employer has a large child care center and a small Christmas program is held for the children. For the last few years I've been helping Santa by leading the children in a few Christmas songs while they receive presents from Santa, played by the Dean of Humanities. I think I have more fun than the kids. They were enthusiastic, sang along, and had a good time. The moms and dads took lots of pictures. Here's Santa and his singing elf, Flake. {} While I do a little picking and grinning, Santa hands out presents and takes pictures with the kids. {} {} It's not a paying gig other than I don't have to do any real work for a couple of hours while Santa and I share some fun with the children. They were bombastic when singing "Rudolf", "Jingle Bells", and such. A couple of kids came up to strum my guitar so hopefully there are some budding musicians in the group. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. Thank you for your indulgence, BassCliff
Hi guys, It's my Ibanez acoustic I've had for over 25 years. I strum a little when I have to. Thank you for your indulgence, BassCliff
Do you work at a university or something? Looks like fun and am awaiting your gig post for this weekend.
