BASSED. [The Channel]

I bet you didn't replace the tubes so they had the same brand of tubes in them, that can make a very noticeable difference as well.
Maybe you can swap the tubes around and see if any differences swaps units when you swap the tubes between the units ??

In the Noble you only need V1 (tube1) if you don't use the 1/4" output, so to test the units with the same tubes you only need 2 tubes (1 in Noble and 1 in Neptunium)

I was under the impression that the Sushi Box version is the same up to the XLR output which is also where the Volume pot is for the 1/4" output, the 1/4" output utilizes the second tube in an additional circuit that drives that output.
If there is any big differences between the units it will most likely only affect the 1/4" output since this is where the Neptunium is changed to reduce the size of the box down to a 125B size. ( As far as I know, I have been wrong many times before. )
Cheers
Mick

Definitely! I no longer have the neptunium so I can’t compare further.

Since you love the Noble maybe you should get a Neptunium while you can as a backup unit in case the Noble decides to have a night off one day, I think there are only so many more Neptunium's being made by Sushi Box.
Unless you can build your own and get a (Sushi) C2CE Nobelium PCB from Nathan and make a Noble clone with both tubes, if you can't build your own then there are friendly people in the C2CE forum who will build one for you if you ask.
