Basses Named After Car

Also, what was up with "Ripper" and "Grabber"?

Maverick Grabber.

Mostly a stripe and trim package, but some came with a 302 V8. Although it was lukewarm compared to the 302 from a few years earlier.

Some came with 4 speeds, and would have been a real sleeper if you omitted the decal package.

Never a production model, or a real car for that matter, in the latest (and worst IMO) Mad Max franchise there was a car called the Ripper.

Apparently in post apocalyptic Australia, when survival hangs in the balance, you still had to spend time and resources on customizing your car.

Yeah, always mate.

As a side note in Australian Ripper translates to 'a good thing' .

Why wouldn't I want a bass that was a Ripper :)
