You bet! It's actually six pickups. It says so right here ... I think.joeinsprings said:Talk about tonal variations on one of those basses. I think I'll add it to my gas list.
Into each lion heart six hand-made lion heart pick-ups from the workshop of Christoph Dolf/Bassculture work. The six gestackten single Coils (thus Humbucker) rest in noble holzgehaeusen. In this way humming noises are avoided, which could develop when affecting the pole Pieces. From the surface of the holzgehaeuse results - when side effect - that ramp, which one knows e.g. from the Fretless Bassisten Gary Willis. Who would not like to use the ramp effect, continue to turn simply the pick-ups into the housing. In order to create the sound, one should try first to form the clay/tone by the on and switching the different Pickups off. Each of the six pick-ups leaves itself to on and switching off individually. One will fast state that each Pickup - for itself easily - exhibits its own, singular sound. While the pick-ups 1 and 2 (regarded from the bar) sound by their situation biting and direct, the coils 3 and 4 exhibit a rather drahtigen and stinging character. PU NR. 5 and 6 transfers against it strong base frequencies. Naturally one can drive the lion heart bass in principle also in the passive mode - in addition one pulls the volume potentiometer, which was platziert consciously at the end of the Bodies, so that one does not tighten it when playing inadvertently.

Now THAT looks rad to me. It has the "ooh, extra knobs" factor yet it still looks very playable and not dorky. Cool.Petary791 said:
