The G&L fretless’ are technically white, I suppose, but with close to 30 years of organic aging, not so much. They look lighter in the pic than in person. (And didn’t want to be rude and leave anyone out…)

If it makes you feel better, having both the Model P and the Super p4, they do sound very similar with the Super P4 being a bit brighter.

I eventually changed the pots to 500k, which brightened it up a bit. Very happy with it now.

I plan to buy this bass and put cream (or possibly white) pickup covers on it, as well as painting the headstock to match the body. Made a very crude mockup...what do you think? Yay or nay?

Parts pbass on the right. Duncan hot for Pbass pickups, had them under Cream covers for the past 5 years. Don't plan on changing.
