basses with multiple detuner keys?

Hello, curious if any of you have had any experience using more than 1 detuner key on a single headstock of an Ibanez Soundgear bass. The reason I'm asking this is because I have a soundgear SR800 bass that I set up in BEAD tuning, but I often use dropped D tuning on the E string and having the low B (B0) drop to a low A (A0) at times comes in handy. The only thing that stops me from buying the detuners is the fact that the 3rd string's tuning peg's gear side is so close to the opposing 2nd string's tuning peg's gear side. Any idea if it would fit?
I know I'd have a better shot at this on a 5 string soundgear, but I don't own any 5ers other than a MM Stingray5 and that bass wouldn't work since the gears are too big and way too close to each other for the the release lever to switch properly to a lower pitch setting.

Very few headstocks are designed to accommodate multiple detuners. Not only is the lever arm an issue, but the tuner itself swings and needs extra room. Very little chance they'd fit on a Soundgear 5's headstock.
