Bassist or Bass Player?

One more for the guys concerned about over all image of them selves and how they put them selves across....

Just wondered, When you describe your role, How do you first introduce your self formerly, As a "Bass Player" Or a "Bassist"

Like could be an add somewhere, You have it wrote on a business card or a website? or facebook page?

(your name) Bass Player or (your name) Bassist

Let me hear your thoughts for and against or if its something you've never really thought about? Or describe your self in another way?

Threads like this are great, I can't wait for people to start saying things like "I just call myself low-tones" or something

I don't consider myself an "-ist" at anything. To me, it just sounds pretentious. Maybe if I were a better player...

I use both.
For print I usually opt for- (your name) Bass
