How do you first introduce your self formerly.....

Lol I thought alot about it, but this one is the best I think:
A bassist is one who knows his/her instrument like no other, knows how to play his/her instrument blindly and makes the best of his/her "solo" part.
A bass player is something like a Rookie, a middle class bass-student, or just a semi-pro.

Nice eh?
I'm a bass player.

Btw, this makes sense: Bass player magazine, I don't think professionals read those magazines, so it's more for bass players haha(no offense).
 
Back in the day, we didn't have "bassists". All we had were bass players and we were just fine with that. Then I started hearing about these "bassists" and figured it must be some new fad that had something to do with all that poppin and slappin or something.

Oh yeah, ya'll get offa my lawn too!
