+100 for oteil burbridge. the george benson-y/scatting thing he does is absolutely amazing. got to see him in a tiny club in cleveland years ago, it was fantastic, and he was polite enough to let me get a picture with him!

a guy I like here in Japan is Masaru Sakurai of The Alfee, they have been around since the mid seventies and still have the best concerts...

i totally agree, all these giutarist are like "bass is easy its only 4 strings, you just play easy bass lines and ****"

i htink the best part about being a bassist/frontman is rubbing it in other peoples faces weh nyou pull off some crazy **** on stage and sing and everyones like totally astounded
Mark King is a fantastic player. It is interesting to ponder if he would have as much recognition as he does had he not been the frontman of Level 42.
