battery consumption

sorry if this is a real newbie question...

does anyone know if my ri morley power wah and my ri russian big muff's batteries will get drained if the instrument leads are plugged in despite being on the "off/bypassed" position?

i get tired of having to plug everything in when i want to play and would rather leave it all plugged in so that i just have to plug in the bass and play. i dont really use the effects themselves that much but when i plug the wah to the back of my LII in parallel with the bass and leave it off there is a significant change in the "clean" tone that sounds pretty awesome with my new setup. i never really liked the altered clean tone when i ran it in series with my old amp but im now in love with it.
thanks
