or

Musicman Bongo 6 H/H (double humbucker)

or

Musicman Bongo 6 H/S (Humbucker and single coil)

And the Music man is active

They all have an active EQ the Ibanez 3 band
The bongo has 4 band EQ

please help me choose!

I play Alternative music, Prog rock, a minute amount of jazz and funk slap suff but really just for kicks mainly i play finger style rock and metal but nothing properly heavy

please try and stick to discusion about these basses but if anyone can mention a similar bass for the same kinda price that would be cool!

I would say the bongo double humbucker. Because i tried the 5 string version and was the only 5 string that i could stand.

Bongo HH for the win.

You need to try them both till your sure which is the right one. Nobody here can tell you what's best for you.

Those are two entirely different basses. Surely you can feel/hear the differences?

I'd pick the SR without a second thought because I'm quite partial to Ibanez SR's, but thats just me.

i've played them all and they all feel like an extension of my body >< but it really depends how i'm feeling or what i want to play

i'm really thinking the Bongo H/S as it is the inbetweener a mix of the H/H the Ibanez
