I'd be interested to know how many of the people who've commented in the negative here have ever attempted to make their own bass?

Not that I'm saying that to qualify to knock Wish's creations you have to be a top notch luthier yourself, but at least the guy is trying to make basses, which some people happen to enjoy. If some of the people took the energy they put into putting down guys like Wish, and channelled it into creating their own instruments, perhaps we'd see a lot more customs on these boards, eh?.....

Um, it's a weird looking instrument. I'd think inspiring discussion is one of the reasons someone goes to so much trouble to create unconventional instruments.

I've seen lots of basses made out of incredible materials with first rate workmanship that are completely hideous designs. There are going to be plenty of people that don't like my designs. I certainly hope people talk about them.
