bbe 4821 or 363

Ok, I know nothing of the rack mount units, but I use the Sonic Stomp, which should be the really low end model, and it rocks. I have a large pedalboard, and the BBE puts alot of life back into my tone. It's very noticable between on/off. When on, (all the time), my tone is alive and punchier, seriously, it's better than if I bypassed all pedals, and went bass into amp. Wish I didn't like it, 'cause I could use the room on my board, but now that I've heard what it does, can't live without it. In short, either of the units you're looking at should do wonders to your tone, as well. Hope that helps.

I just bought the 362 rack unit. i love it. Playing a Spector NS2 with active EMG's, and an Ibanez with active bartolini's mostly with Nady rack wireless, into a Hartke HA3500 only other FX are an alesis Nano compressor. i use the Hartke VX 410 and Hartke VX 210 both cabs have a horn. really makes my sound crisp.
