BBE Sonic Maximizer

First off, I'm new here, but I like what I see so far. It's refreshing to see knowledgable people discuss our instrument.

Anyway, I just got a used BBE 362 Sonic Maximizer ($50 USD), and added it to my rig. OH MY GOD! It is the absolute best thing that has ever happened to my tone. I spent 10 minutes playing quarter notes on my open E string, while hitting the bypass button repeatedly, listening to difference. Amazing.

Anyone else use one?

Yes, I use the same model and never turn it off. Congrats on a great deal!

Jon R, the BBE is a phase device that makes highs and lows hit your ear at the same time. I think. It's a very subtle effect that sounds great, people describe as taking a blanket off of your speakers.
