BC Rich BDSM pickup?

Im looking at buying the BC Rich Zombie 5 string. My only hesitation is the pickups on it. They have BC Rich brand BDSM active pickups. Does anyone have any experience with these pickups?

Also if I were to buy it and replace the pickups what brand and model would you recommend as a solid active replacement?

Get a ruler and measure the pickups and take a picture. Then search the internet and see which pickups share the same dimensions.

On the other hand it would be helpful if you made clear what sort of sound you're after

I have the factory split p pickups in my NJ beast and I found that there is no need to upgrade. BC Rich's pickups arent bad(I love them). If I was u I would try one at the store to see if u like the sound or not.
