i got this BC RICH WARLOCK bass from my cousin. he says it's been in the basement collecting dust. i'm trying to find out when it was made...serial #23797. it's an nj series. any help would be greatly appreciated. also...how do i post pics??? thanks....

thanks snakeman. you figure it's a 2003? i thought it was a little older judgeing from the wear on it. how did you come up with that?

it may well be....but the serial number you gave follows current (within the last 15 years anyway) trend

does it have Letters or anything in front of the numbers? is it neck thru or bolt on?

you said it's NJ but there are several periods of manufacture for those including in the near past so...

based on the information at hand...

Wrong mate, sorry, 2003 serial numbers were 8 digits long

Cannot see any pictures of the bass, but the serial number would place it as a Class Axe era import, anywhere from 1989 to 1993. I'm betting it says "Licenced by B.C.Rich" on the headstock
