BDDIv2 versus PDDI

Which pedal do you recommend for Fender-style passive basses?

I like---but don't love---my Programmable BDDI, and I am not really using the multi-channel functionality. I'm interested in sticking with Tech21 but checking out these two options with mid controls. Besides the fact that BDDI is mid-switch and PDDI is mid-sweep, is there any other reason you prefer one versus the other?
