This is playoff football, the team that limits it's mistakes usually wins.
Both teams played like they wanted it, i knew the Bears defense would come through when called upon.

I saw bad mistakes by both teams on both sides of the ball. I saw Rex Grossman nearly blow it several times, and I saw Seattle failing to capitalize on Grossman's mistakes.
Did both teams want the win? Yeah, of course they did. Like you said, it's playoffs football. What does any of that have to do with mistakes, though?
And for the record: I'm a Bears fan (my dad is from Chicago, so I grew up in a Bears household).
The ONLY mistakes i saw was Grossmans fumble..that led to a Seattle TD and Mushins pick.

Well, that's just great. You hear that, Ed? Bears... Now you're putting the whole station in jeopardy.
Bears are still #1 on Steven Colbert's list of threats, so I simply could not bring myself to watch this game. I have been protesting Bears games all season because of it, and when the time comes for baseball season, I'll be protesting Cubs games too, because, as we all know, Cubs are nothing more than tiny bears. I'd say the definition of "good" is being able to make mistakes and come back from them. I've never seen a "perfect" football game from anyone. There's fumbles, incomplete passes, turnovers and penalties in every game. Whichever team can come back from their mistakes is the winner. Mistakes are a part of football, or any sport.
This Bears team is good. They're not dominating the league like the '85 Bears, maybe that's why people aren't saying they're any good. This Bears team is good, but the '85 Bears were great. There's "good" and there's the stuff legends are made of.
I'm totally nervous about the next game.
With the Bulls having dominated for years, the Sox winning the World Series, I'd say the Bears need to have their moment in Chicago History again. (I'm not even going to talk about the Cubs. I'm a Cubs fan, not a Sox fan. I don't want to go there.)
Also, the Bears need cheerleaders. But that's just my opinion.

Yes, we got two "gifts," one was the false start on the field goal attempt that resulted in a first down and the other was an interception that was ruled incomplete because he was out of bounds AND WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WITH THAT!!!!!!!!!!
I will point out...no penalties in the first half! And they did call the illegal block in the back on Hester's return for a TD.
