I've never played a *new* Fender in that range, would be interested to see what it plays like.

I’m lucky I got my 2 boutique jazzes for less than this one. (Pensa Suhr Olympic white over Koa special ordered & previously owned by Lloyd Cole & my Low End Olympic white with black hardware. Drop E tuners on both.)
