I'm a (hopefully) returning bassist, currently living in Japan.
Unfortunately bringing my gear over here wasn't an option because I was going through some big changes in my life, and I've been missing some major mojo ever since. Now, I've managed to settle in and I can afford myself some new equipment here.
I've recently been keeping my eye open for a used MIJ fender Jazz. Always loved the feel and versatility of J basses. Also looking for a nice little practice amp.
My favourite genre of music is funk (which is why I got into bass, I guess!), but I appreciate any songs with a groovy bassline.
As far as gear goes, I've been out of the loop far too long to make an informed decision. I was hoping that you guys could help me get back in the groove of things
