Bedroom practice amp

I'm wondering what you all are using for a bedroom/very small practice amp?

I've had the original THR10 since it came out and it's surprisingly decent for bass, even though bass was clearly an afterthought on the device. It also doubles as a USB interface so that's a plus.

I'm thinking of getting another for another room in my house. Any better recs out there? I believe there are some offering from Vox, Spark, Boss, and even more traditional types such as Phil Jones. What do you all like?

I like my Roland Cube 20 xl Bass. Loud and low enough for living or bedroom.

I own a Phil Jones Double Four BG-75. It's excellent. With a cab extension it can match a drum kit for volume. I also just ordered a Vox amPlug for portable headphone use around the house in the early morning.

I second the double four, it's great for practice, solid fat tone without going deaf

I've been using my 5w Hotone Thunderbass into a 1x12 Eden cab every day for the last 9 months. Sounds great and is very small and unobtrusive.

Currently it's a Quilter 101 into an Eden EX112. Used to be a Quilter Interblock 45 into the EX112. I plug the board du jour into the loop return on either & it sounds pretty darn nice to me w/ either head.

Thinking the amp may wind up changing over to an Ampeg Micro VR at least some of the time when it arrives sometime this week although it may wind up living on the bench for testing & noodling purposes so I'm not setting up one of the bigger cabs & heads every time I'm working on something.

I absolutely love my Genzler MG350 BA10 combo. I like it so much I sold all the other amps and when I go back to playing out I'm just going to add cabs.

I love my Phil Jones Session 77. Very simple controls, 100 watts, about 27 lbs, excellent high-end frequency response makes for a great monitor for other devices (laptops, phone, movie projector, etc).

I’ve been using a Markbass Micromark 801 for almost 10yrs... also has a speaker ‘off’ switch and input & headphones jacks- for silent practice w/music from my iPad, etc...

I use a Mike Pope MPP-2 into a QSC PLX2502 in an AudioKinesis thunderchild 1 x 12.

Not the cheapest of practice set ups but sounds nice.

Half my rig works pretty well, but looking for a truly small practice amp that can go on a nightstand or table.

I was seriously considering a Boss Bass Micro Cube as a home practice amp since I keep my rig at the drummers basement (where the magic happens). Thought it'd be fun with the extra effects, etc. Ended up paying a bit more for this...

And SO glad I did! Tons of fun and an almost endless combination of effects, amp and cab models. Also very cool to stream your music to play with via bluetooth!

The Double Four is such a great sounding amp my big rig is getting jealous. Very true sound and plenty loud enough to practice. The bottom end response is as good as anything 2X the size.

Plus it comes in white so you can be cool and your SO will like that it matches the decor better.
