Beer for breakfast!

Hurry up and get your six pack to put away to show your grandkids (oh, wait, it will almost surely come in a four pack to match the packaging of the energy drinks it's trying to cheese on). I wasn't quick enough to snatch up a sixer of the clear beer (was that just Miller, or did bud test market a clear beer, too?) that hit the shelves back in the clear craze of the early 90's, only to disappear quickly without fanfare.

America. Boy howdy, ain't we a grand lot?

:hiding:

Beer with caffine? no appeal there....

Beer with caffine and nicotine .....I wouldn't leave the house!

Or if they could find a way to put alcohol in my cloves....man...I'd be a happy boy

On a semi related subject I just learned recently that they make Djarum Blacks(my personal choice) with cappicino(sp?) flavored filters....oh boy... :hyper:

Yeah, I'm Mr. Health, thats why I smoke a pack of cloves a day....yeah, I'm gonna die....and it won't be pretty

If only capitalism was instantaneous...

Large breweries making sex-in-a-canoe-barley-and-yeast-water with friggin WHEAT in it is not my idea of a good beer. Good beer is something like Guiness (of course) or pretty much anything made by Bridgeport or Tugboat. Bridgeport IPA is a great pale, very mellow and malty. Their seasonal spiced lager is also wonderful. And if you really want a kick in the keister, Old Knucklehead is a nice Barley Wine that sits at around 9.5%.

Home brew. Everyone!! It's a great past time, it's LEGAL, and you can come up with some great tasting beer. If anyone shows up in the area, I will let you sample some of my dad's beer. He makes great stuff.

Rock on
Eric

Coming through! I actually am going by your area tomorrow, but have no time to stop. I used to brew lots of homebrew myself, and it's amazing how good it can be. We used to go up to Yakima and get leftover hops right out of the fields at the end of harvest time, with the blessings of the farmers.

As far as barleywine, Old Stumblefoot from Walking Man Brewery is usually around 11.6%, and really tasty to boot. My weight dropped about ten pounds shortly after I got laid off, and didn't have that place tempting me on the way home from work.

Oh, yeah: there are at least a few different espresso stout micros that I've sampled. Nothing like being in a stupor and hyper at the same time, eh?

Well, being a fan of the alcohol and stimulant thing (I've been drinking Jaeger Bombs for years) i have to say, im suprised. Even though im an idiot and do it anyway, i remember there being some serious concern about mixing stimulants and alcohol and it causing, well, death. Rather easily. Im suprised budweiser would market something like that. Thats not what bothers me though. What bothers me most is the berry flavoring.

Knowing my stupidity, though, ill probably be the first one to plunk down my money on a case of it and get stupid drunk. Just hope im not the first to die from it. :hmm:

Giuness is the best beer!!!!

Can't do Guiness by itself...feels like I'm drinking beer flavored chocolate milk...however (stay with me here) if you throw Guiness in a glass with 1/4 Ace Pear Cider and 1/4 Rubina (Black Currant Juice) it's a wonderful thing. I think it's called a Black Velvet with Rubina.

I'm with Gard, if I can see through the glass, chances are I ain't gonna like it.
