thanks for the suggestion, i like the growl that my quarter pounders give but i agree that it's not very traditional p sounding. i like to roll off the tone knob a tiny bit, seems to kill some of the harshness.

Thanks, I am Looking for a white one right now. Although they are heavy I really like the Tone.
I like it as is. If it were mine, I'd loose the quarter pounder and put the stock pickup back in.

yeah i will definitely give the stock pickup a try if i ever come across one for pretty cheap.
to get another bass along the same lines, should i go with another one of these in black/black pg or i was also thinking a highway 1 p. any recommendations? my main bass that was stolen was a reggie hamilton sig that i really liked. i liked the idea of a tony franklin sig for awhile too...i have crushes on too many basses.
