And after. For me the biggest thing is actually DIY that I found from here. Its nowhere near "ready" I am not even trying to pretend that there is not going to be changes. But I am really happy about my sounds at the moment.

After TB, keep in mind that between the above and below pics, I first had an all Mooer mini board,still have some of those, but I moved onto this setup:

In the cupboard is a Sansamp PDDI, Boss Bass Chorus, Boss ODB3, boss ph1r phaser,Mooer Bass EQ,Mooer Baby Tuner and Mooer Thunderball.

Current. DIY board, with 1Spot. Spark was for testing, but I´m getting a Barbershop instead. Have a Joyo Dynacomp on there now, but getting a Diamond, Empress or EBS MultiComp. Struggling with the decision!

Only addition has been the expression pedal for the BP50, and the overdrive footswitch / button for the Rumble...

I'm pretty basic. I really haven't figured out much about how to use the danged BP50 aside from as a tuner and drum beat generator... It works fine for those functions though. There are tons of other effects that I am not all that interested in using on this thing though...

It's not though...it's a before and after of your pedal board and effects usage. If nothing has changed and/or you don't use a board, then pointing that out isn't relevant.

I love to see those downsized boards. There have been quite a few lately and they all look amazing. Usually, when people have gone through big boards and then downsize on here, the r esult is these sweet small boards where every single pedal is awesome!

That kind of discussion is like a virus in effects threads. Once it starts, half the posts become variations on "bass>cable>amp". It's against the rules in the effects section.

This thread has the potential to be a cool discussion about why people changed their effects usage, up or down, why they decided to go one way or another way. Nobody wants to see it become yet another debate about effects.

Does anyone go into the double bass forum and post in a "What was your first double bass?" thread and show a picture of themselves playing air double bass or an electric bass?

If you want a rack and keep some pedals, there are super cheap drawers/shelves so you can have both rack units and your favourite pedals. Best of both worlds. Add to that a lightweight skb case (normal or with a handle and rollers) and you can have a real sweet setup...
