Behring iNuke 1000W

Considering replacing my Crown Power Base 2 amp with the new Behringer iNuke 1000W. Anyone have any info (other than specs) or is using one? Price is right, and weight is unbelievable 7 pounds! My Crown weighs a ton, and cut out on me ( I think thermal protection kicked in) at a gig this past weekend, so I'm thinking of retiring it! Thanks in advance for your help.

Behringer introduced a new Nx line of power amps and the inukes are going dirt cheap.
The still have a 3-year warranty.
But you'll have to ask for a lower price, they still don't allow lower than MAP prices to be advertised.
DSP model will give you some more flexible options to working with different pre-amps and cabs

I'm using one sometimes... Needed a spare for when my GK was getting its fan fixed and was disinclined to lug the LH1000 for a small room gig. My Darkglass VMTDLE drove it just fine either into an 800W 8-Ohm 410 bridged or a 300W 112 using one side. I like that it's 2-Ohm stable in stereo, so it might one day get repurposed to driving passive monitors in the PA rack. I had told myself 'no Behringer amp products' but the price was right, and I have no complaints... And I don't care if the 1000W is optimistic - it was loud enough for what I needed and I still have the LH1000 if I need a 'real' 1000W. The 3000W iNuke is only a little more...

Thanks, this helps a lot!

i have no experience with iNuke 1000, but i use the 3000 and 6000 for PA with no problems (maybe 6 years?).

I think thermal protection kicked in
i think that's a risk with many amps --- logos aside --- when conditions aren't perfect and the amp is being pushed hard enough.

i'd use the 1000 without hesitation if i had one and wanted to rack it up for bass. good luck with your amp choices!
