Behringer BXD3000H?

I recently purchased a TC Electronic BQ500, and sadly I was disappointed I had to almost turn the gain AND volume knob all the way up to get any power. I'm in a 3 piece hard rock band so I'm not even competing with 2 guitarists.
I'm low on cash and we have a big gig coming up.
Anybody play this Behringer amp? The reviews are decent, but so were the ones for TC =/

It's really strange, because I use BQ500 with GK CX210 8 ohm cabinet, and it's LOUD. I can easily stand against a loud drummer and 2 guitars. Either your amp is defective or there is something wrong with the amp settings or impedance matching.. Unfortunately I've never tried BXD3000H, but I've seen good reviews about this one.

This. With the gain and volume at noon it should be deafening, so you have other issues.

What cabs are you using?

What amp head did you use previously?

I've used a Peavey Model 215 (back from the 70s or 80s I believe)
And I tried a locally made 4x10 cab.

I had a poopy Hartke amp before and that was only 350 watts. And it was WAY louder than the TC. You guys might be right about something being wrong.

I'm also looking at maybe getting a Peavey MiniMax 500

If you lived closer I'd sell you my Behringer BX4500H, which is a legit 450w @ 4 ohms. I've done plenty of gigs and rehearsals with it. Built like a tank and gets every bit as loud as my old GK 700RB. Has some cool effects and built-in compression also. I have too many amps...

I am looking at those amp heads too. I'm waiting on my new speaker (G B 12PR300)
My Warwick bc80 died, only a few months old (under warranty) but I wanted to try something different, and no I don't know what I'm going! Should be fun! I should have use of 300 watts @ 8 ohms, and I want to keep the weight down!
