Behringer DCX2496 Ultradrive Pro

Hi.

Anyone using this loudspeaker management system?

Any experiences You're willing to share?

Any thoughts?
Well, besides it being effing Behringer that is ;).

The use would be primarily testing various active cab combinations for PA use, but also for live situations in difficult places (aren't they all :().

For that price (266€) it seems to offer quite a bit more than the usual 3 way active cross-overs we all are used to.

I must add that while I wouldn't touch their amps (MI or PA), all the Behringer processing stuff that I've used has been more than adequate.
And the 3 year unlimited warranty doesn't hurt a bit either ;).

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Sam

I've got this Behringer DCX unit, and it has done well for me. I use it as a crossover for my Fitzmaurice tops and subs and as a limiter. Haven't used any of the parametric EQ or time delay options.

This is a pretty popular item with many of the guys over on the BFM forums.

I run mixer -> 31-band EQ -> DCX -> power amp

Had it about a year now. Got a B-stock unit from MusiciansFriend.com. Light use because we haven't done a lot with the band this last year. So far so good.
