Behringer X32

So, I got the chance to use a Behringer X32 Digital Board the other day. First off, in the past I've had very little respect for Behringer, their products and Customer Service from personal experiences. But after hearing good things about this board I hopped on it.

And it's pretty nice! Gig consisted of Lead Guitar/Male Vocal, Bass, and 5 Piece kit playing mostly blues. It was an outdoor gig and I decided to mic their amps. Kit sucked big time.

For me, I really liked the preset FXs and that nearly everything is 100% adjustable. Felt like a solid board and after getting the hang of the buttons/processes it becomes pretty easy to run.

The only I didn't like about the board is you can't see **** when it's out in the sun. Can't see the lights, the screen or printed words.

Other than that, I'm impressed.

What are your thoughts?

(Sorry for the grammar/spelling. Typed it on my phone.)

Awesome!

And don't make excuses for grammar or spelling. I've seen A LOT worse...

Dear Exxcell,

Glad to hear you enjoyed using the X32 at your gig.

Please let me know if I can answer any questions about any of the X32 series consoles.

I've been using the x32 since March approximately 4x per week at church. With our 8-piece band (including vox) running IEMs mixed off of bus sends and using the built in effects, it's an absolute champ. Could not have done better for the price.

I would like a little more control over which inputs route to which channels, rather than having to do everything in blocks of 8, but for a $3k board, I couldn't ask for anything more.

Holy crap. My band just got this for monitors, and I'm geeking pretty hard on it. For a 7 piece band to all be able to run stereo ears is just killer, add comp/eq/gate on every channel and effects and it's worth the 2500 we spent on it. Then to know we can multitrack every gig to a laptop? Sheeeeeeeee.......
