Belated NBD. Purchased this a few months ago on a SDOTD special for $250. Fit and finish is solid. No issues with tuners or bridge. A bit heavy (9.9 lbs) but feels fine on the strap. Pickup is quite hot but I like the tone once dialed in. Setup was good out of box and the stock strings ended up being quite serviceable for now. They call this color Candy Apple Red but really doesn’t look like it IMO- has more of a maroon tone (I think the photos convey the color accurately). Saw the blue version recently and definitely prefer this. Overall, very satisfied for the price and looking forward to hearing it mixed in with full band.

Nice! I dig that maroon color. I saw Low End Lobster demo one in that same color and I thought it sounded and looked pretty good. The 1.5" nut width is appealing to me. I had a Sub Ray 5 a long time ago before I realize I'm not much of a five string guy, so I've been thinking about picking one of these eventually.

What a great deal! I’m working w Sweetwater on a Sterling sb14 in blue pearl and it seems like they’re all around the 10 pound mark too. I think I got one 9.10oz so a little under 10. Not too concerned about the weight I just hope the fretwork is good. But I can level them if I have to, but it’s a pita. It’s going to get a set of Pino flats!
