What color is the Pbass behind the orange bass?
+1
I was wondering the same thing
.It looks a bit like a Shoreline Gold Fender CS '59 P Bass that I had ...
... but maybe it's some kind of silver!?
Let's hope we get an answer soon

Scott im really digging the specs on your bass!
however i want to ask you why did you choose lollar pickups? is that the only option he gave you or have you used these pickups in the past?
Please describe the difference between these and the nordies because so far i love the nordies on the deluxe and would really consider them on a project like this.
also why passive electronics? i have to admit that i have been playing alot of passive lately with the deluxe because of the great tone but i kick it into active when i do some slapping! Do you plan on using a outboard preamp or just passive 100% of the time?
Also does he do 5 stringers?
If its not to much to ask what did the total come up to? if you dont want to post it here in the forum feel free to pm me.
Man i shouldnt have looked into your posts!

Scott: Been thinking about your bass. Hate to confuse or throw gas on the fire, but I'd do Candy Apple Red ( or your original Hot Rod) long before I'd even consider Dakota, which is significantly darker and more your dad's Caddy or Lincoln than the pony car of your dreams, IMHO. Fortunately, you have the luxury of some time before Ben starts the build.
Thats candy apple by the way.
by the way what radius did you pick?
Just wanted to show a finish Ben did for me on a bass I built for a friend, it was a custom transparent color, REALLY beautiful in person...

The neck I sprayed myself but with Ben's "Gracie's" lacquer...Ben is a true craftsman and gentleman....the cool matching cord was made by TB'er Exaltbass who posted his orange bass above...
Man i need an update on this thread......
What are you currently playing Scott?
