I really dig the fingerstyle sound in the first video posted. Not saying the slap is bad, but the finger-style is very nice. I love EBMM basses, but if you're going for a boutique style bass at a reasonable price, the Benavente might just be your ticket. You will always be able to pick up a Stingray. Get the bass you posted and if you're still craving that classic Stingray tone, look at the used market. For $900 you can easily find a Stingray.
+1 My buddy got a killer deal on his used mint condish ray. There will always be deals on them. But that boutique bass looks awesome...and the clips sound sick too....
