Benefits of sub'n'up vs mini?

To cut a long story short, I am looking for an octave up. I have enough sub bass with the Meatbox so I am really focused on just the up.

I am currently embarking on a new project with a percussionist in which I am doing a lot of looping. Currently I am using a bass and a piccolo bass into an AB switch at the begining of the chain. I would like to drop this down to just one instrument if possible.

I see that the normal version has more onboard control than the mini, but as they both have tone print, I think that the mini would cover my purposes, but I wanted to check with the experts first.

Am I missing anything important by going with the mini?

There are like 8 toneprint presets available for the full size version. The mini version only has 1 listed on the TC site. Don't know if you can load the regular toneprints into the mini.

I think you can LOAD anything into a mini via toneprint or computer. But you can't DIAL it in. Contact company to double check, because set and forgetted my corona mini

I think the only major on-board difference is the mini does not have control for sub2 octave, which is not that useful for bass anyhow but is apparently still available with tone print. Also you cannot select the mode, you are either in tone print or not. Who knows how you switch between on-board settings or tone print though?

Sub N Up full version has regular octave and poly modes, as well as custom tone print. Hypothetically, you can have 3 different octave tones with a simple flick of the switch.
Also missing the 2nd octave down as mentioned above.
