I blew a speaker in a AE212 after hundreds and hundreds of gigs, Jim was amazingly fast at taking care of it. Another one of the reasons I never hesitate to buy Bergantino gear besides how great they sound, the best customer service I've ever had from equipment manufactures.Has anyone had to replace a speaker in their AE212? I need a replacement and since the cab is discontinued what are my options? Should I be contemplating getting 2 new speakers? Would it be possible/sound good to get 2 of the 12's from the CN line as a replacement?
I've sent out a message on the Bergantino site but I haven't heard anything yet. I'm sure someone will be contacting me soon.
If anyone has had to replace a speaker in their AE212 I'd love to hear what your solution was.
I do plan on calling Jim, thanks for the number rodneyrat!, very soon. I want to give him the opportunity to reply to my email inquiry before I do though. In the meantime I want to hear from anyone who has been in my situation and had to replace a speaker.
Thanks
My experience with Jim is that you are better off getting him on the phone.
