No dude, I was trying to pry out of you what on earth you meant by "+++++", which has no meaning in English, and could just as easily mean "five stars great" as "five letter swear word".

I think he meant A+. It is really a nice system. The TecAmp is a bit extreme (the grind setting is REALLY grindy). But the Mesa sounds pretty nice at all three (I think it is three) crossover points. Of course, the cabs weigh a ton, but that would be another discussion!
and I think I would dig the change in the AE112 also (although there are better 12's for stand-alone use out there IMO).

Hey guys. There is an ad for a newish looking AE212 on TB right now for $1000 shipped. Good deal? Recommended?

Pretty much the going rate...

+1Because it is a highly regarded cab that was discontinued very early in its production, there aren't many out there. I assume anyone who has one in very good condition would most likely sell it at a very slight discount from new, since the demand would be pretty high.
Just good old 'supply and demand' at work on that one.

More!!!
I have great Tukis on my Eons but the Bergs are way superior. I recommend Tuki all the time. The owner added padding where the tilt back feet protrude on Eons.
Yet the Bergs are thicker and exude an extra umph of quality.
