Bergantino Forte with IEMS

Hi folks,

I am looking at upgrading my stage head. I use IEMs and currently use a TC RH750. The problem is when I connect the headphones to my in ear monitor the speaker output cuts off. Hence it is in ears or stage speaker but not both.

My question is does this also happen with the Bergantino Forte?

I use mix mode and take my in ear sound directly from the amp rather than the desk. The rest of the band are fed from the desk to me IEM.

No, the Bergantino will do what you want. You need to disconnect the speaker cable if you only want to use the headphone output.

Just curious how that method works out for you? Are you using molded ear buds or just standard off the shelf ones? If I used mine and put only bass into them I wouldn't be able to hear the rest of the band.

I use the Shure psm 300 unit and the Shure non moulded plugs, 535s I think? The way I work is that I use mix mode on the psm, so one side of the stereo split takes an input from the desk (with the bass muted on the aux) and the other stereo split comes straight from my EBS head. That way I can control my bass eq and volume from the stage output pot on the EBS. If you use a speaker on stage then you need to be careful that you don't get too loud for the band, as your in ear volume and stage volume are controlled by the same output volume of the amp.

Oh, and if I use the TC electronic RH750 it is either or but not both, hence my question on the Bergantino option.
