Best 2x10 Standalone cab? Neo or no Neo?

I have 2 Eden D-XST's that sound awesome. I think the Aguilar DR 210's sound great too.
LOL, I'm working in revers Jim. I went from neo cabs to ceramic... The Eden's do sound great tho....Well off to the chiropractor;-)
Until about 5 years ago, I had an absolute aversion to any 2x10 cabinet. I played through a lot of local bassist's cabs at jams..some were 2x10.. mostly Goliath Jr.'s, Edens and a few Peaveys. I hated all of them. I'm 65. Old guy, old school. My regualr gigging rig in New York City, in the 70's was a Sunn Coliseum, and a 200S cab with JBL's. Most bassists were playing Polytones, or Acoustic 136- or similar combos. I thought the size was a fair tradeoff to not sound like I was imitating a bass kazoo.
All the 2x10's I played through, seemed to approximate that kazoo buzz any time I played through one. Then, about five years ago I played through an Avatar first gen neo 2x10. I liked it, and I was surprised that I did. I owned an Avatar first gen neo 410 at the time, so it made sense. In the years since, I bought a friend's EA VL-210. Great cab, but heavy, and it will not really push a lot of room filling bass without also going back to having to back off it to keep it from farting. Now, on to the biggest surprise of my career. I showed up at a gig where I was invited to sit in. Onstage, was a Carvin BX500 head, and a BRX 10.2 cabinet. It sounded good, but I was not thinking my time sitting in would be all that enjoyable. Boy, was I surprised! After playing through it I found a used one, and a BX500 head. I even had the opportunity to play it head to head against my Avatar 410. It was actually clearer, and more present in the mix. I now own two of them. I had some blown speaker issues with my first cab, they were the Chinese made neos- and put two of the first gen longer Xmax Eminence neo 10" drivers from my Avatar in it. It kills. The thing I noticed as I looked the inside of the cab over, was how incredibly WELL BUILT it is! MUCH more robust than my Avatar. Two of these with my new BX1500, just kick ass.

By far the best 210 cabinet I've owned or played through is the Genzler BA210-3 arrays. They have 500 watts at 8ohm and are only 38lbs. I've never seen anything come close to them.
I am a big fan of JBL K140 15" speakers. I buy them blown, and re-cone them myself. I have two single cabs and
one dual cab. They get the harmonics of a bass right, and lets a bass sound its best. Everything else I try makes me want my K140 1970's Alnico mganet speakers back. Look cool too with that aluminum dust cover. Often I run the double cap on my side of the drummer, powered by the 300 watt channel of my healthy GK 800rb, and run a single cab on the other side of the drummer, powered by the 100 watt channel of the GK800, crossover turned off.
Other bass players in the crowd tell me it sounds fantastic. I agree.

Genzler bass array 210. Such an awesome tone!! I highly recommend checking it out. very full sound and lightweight to carry.

IMO all subjective. Why do we always ask what's the best? I have a 23 yr old Horizon 2x10 with gray rat fur I simply love. Sounds good with any head I've used. It stays in the trunk through summer/winter/spring/and fall and hasn't faltered yet. Because of this I could say this is the best 2x10 I've ever had.
