Best 2x12 for the money

I used to own an Ampeg Portabass 212. The previous owner upgraded the speakers to the second version of Eminence neo speakers. It sounded amazing (I ran an Eden WT300 into it). I got it used as they've been discontinued for some time now. I sold both because I'm going to the even lighter GK MB212 combo.

I recently aquired an Aguilar gs2x12 and i'm in love with the sound of it,i had an SWR GoliathII and GoliathIII and to be honest i don't think i would be going back to SWR.I was a little hesitant about going for a 2x12 configuration since i tried a 2x12 from another company and i wasn't too impressed with it's sound. But the gs2x12 got me really hooked i think i finally found the cab that'll give me the sound i want.

...

Also, If it is low end you want, you should look at the 4x10. I have both and the 2x12 was definitely voiced higher than the 410.

... which made me go with a 2x12" solution.
I have been switching between 4x10 and 2x12 cabs lately and I have always come to the same conclusion:

4x10": louder and more lows
2x12": not as loud, less deep lows, more "hi-bass/low mids" -> better audible in a band mix
